Yesterday, we spent some time in the Maker's Space programming robots. Small groups of students worked together to first steer Sphero down a path, then program Sphero to travel down that same path. Many groups completed the challenge and then extended it on their own, making the paths created even more complicated. The expressions of sheer joy and squeals of excitement upon completion of the activity were telling of the challenge and feeling of accomplishment!
