Fourth Nine Weeks, Week 9

We've got a busy week ahead!  A great deal of our time will be spent on the Wax Museum and Passion Project Presentations.  I hope you can join us for both of those.  We will also be going to the Civil Rights Institute this Sunday from 1 - 2:30 if you can join us!

Reading - Students will be completing Riding Freedom and discussing themes and characters in the story.  Ask your child about the person who this book is about.  It's a fascinating story!

Language - Final touches on the Civil War stories are happening this week!

Math - We are doing some more activities on measurement, specifically how to convert units of measurement from smaller to larger units and vice versa.

Science - The students will be doing a short project this week about the adaptations of an animal of their choosing.
