Reading: The students are really enjoying the Charlotte's exciting story in Riding Freedom as they are reading the book in small groups.
Language: Students are finishing up their Civil War narratives this week.
Math: The students will be wrapping up much of the geometry unit this week and proving to me just what they know about angles, lines, perimeter and area.
Alabama History: We are just about finished with the Civil War and Reconstruction. There will be a test on the Civil War on Thursday. There is already a StudyStack available to help the students study!
Science: This week, we will look at cells as we begin to discuss how animals and plants are classified.
