Motion and Design
Our new science unit is already capturing the imagination of these young scientists. We will be focusing on how the design of something can affect its motion and how friction plays a part in motion. Today, the children eagerly accepted the challenge to build a car in about 15 minutes. Their only requirement was for the car to move 100cm. The kids not only had to use great communication and cooperation skills in order to complete this group project but they also learned more about the K'nex pieces they will be using for this unit. I was very proud of their hard work!
